Find me a Cashmere, Washington in Canada and I will move there tomorrow. This has got to be my favorite place in Washington State.

I was pet-sitting for my friend’s cats for a few days. So my friends from Wenatchee and Leavenworth came to visit me. That meant a stop at Sure to Rise Bakery for a sticky bun. Lunch one day was at Almond Blossom and another day at Agave Azul.

I was back in Cashmere today volunteering at a church. We give out toiletries and cleaning supplies to needy families in the community. I get to practice my Spanish here as the majority of the people are Hispanic.

Then it was off to a flower garden to pick out plants for the Spirit of America 9/11 Memorial in Cashmere.

Our final stop was the Community Farmers Market. Melt Company had a food truck offering their amazing grilled cheese sandwiches. Highly recommend! There was another food truck, a few vendors with crafts as well as a few with produce. There was also live music.

And yes, I did visit my tree.
